The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle Is a Luxury Minivan for $50,000

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle is an ultra-luxury minivan -- and today I'm reviewing the new Pacifica Pinnacle, and I'm going to show you all the quirks and features of the Pacifica. I'm also going to drive the new Pacifica and let you know what it's like behind the wheel of the new 2021 Pacifica.

Quick correction at 8:20 with the seats - the lever on the backrest will move the seat forward so you can access the third row. The procedure shown at 5:40 lets you move the front seat forward so you can stow the second row. My mistake!

Responding to Doug's pinned comment, the Pinnacle doesn't have 2nd row stow n' go, just floor storage. It's not the AWD system either, the other trim levels have the stow n' go with AWD. Also, the lower trim levels have easy tilt 2nd row seats, which makes access to the 3rd row much easier. I work at a Chrysler dealership, and I haven't been able to figure out why this is. Very weird features to be missing on the Pinnacle trim level.

Just rented one of these for a week in CO. Really liked most everything about it except the abysmal power (especially for mountain driving) and the transmission SUCKED! A sport mode and/or paddle shifters would have been so much better. I had my hand on that transmission dial most of the time which gave me like ONE option for power gearing. It was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. My personal car is a Ford Flex Ltd with ecoboost, so I'm spoiled in the power dept., but the offset there is that the Pacifica had much better fuel economy.

Those moving front seat buttons aren’t for legroom, it’s to fold the middle seats into the floor. We have a 2017 Dodge GC and it’s a royal pain in the ass to have to move the seats up and forward because the electric motors work so damn slow. Then you have to move them back. That’s the only way to fold the seats down in the middle else you don’t have room.

Doug, the buttons on the bottom that move the driver and passenger seats up are for better access to the stow&go storage in the floor behind those seats. That's why it only works when the sliding door is open because usually you're leaning into the van to access your stow&go. Often, the passenger and driver sit too far back for you to fully open the stow&go compartments. (From a long time Chrysler minivan owner)

I feel like Doug has a hard time reviewing vehicles beyond “quirks and features”. He kept saying “It’s a minivan” instead of doing a more fleshed out analysis of the minivan driving experience. Like, is it easy to park? How’s the passing power? What about visibility? What’s it like when it’s carrying a lot of weight? Instead he just said “It’s a minivan. It’s fine” My Ben Score on Doug’s review: Quirks and Features 9/10, Driving 2/10.

I can’t believe how stupid this guy is. He does not disappoint. He actually thought the button to move the front seats forward was to give more leg room and he later was told it was for access to folding the second row seats in the Stow N Go. As a former Dodge Caravan owner this feature is awesome as before I would have had to hold the power seat forward button to move the drivers seat forward to fold in the middle seats. This guy has to be faking his stupidity. He can’t really believe some of the stuff he says about cars. The only nice thing I can say about Doug is he does have nice legs. He reminds me of that guy from the movie Ernest goes to camp.
